Five steps, about a minute.
Open the app
Open the Curzan Loyalty app on your phone, or visit your loyalty program on the web at
<program>.curzanloyalty.ca/m(replace <program> with the merchant’s subdomain — it’s the same address you use to check your points).Sign in if you aren’t already
We sign you in with a magic link sent to the email on your account.
Tap Settings
Settings is in the bottom navigation on the member home screen.
Tap Delete account
Scroll to the Danger zone section at the bottom of Settings and tap Delete account.
Confirm by typing DELETE
To prevent accidental deletion, you’ll be asked to type the word
DELETEin all capitals. Tap the final confirm button and your deletion is processed.
What gets deleted
- Your name and any display name on file.
- Your email address and phone number.
- Your birthday, if you provided one.
- Your wallet pass installations on Apple Wallet and Google Wallet (the passes are invalidated).
- Your push, email, SMS, and WhatsApp opt-ins.
Personally identifying fields are scrubbed within 24 hours of a verified deletion request. You’ll receive one final confirmation email at the address on file.
What we have to keep
- Anonymized loyalty activity (earn events and redemptions, without your name or contact info) is retained for approximately seven years to meet the merchant’s obligations under Canadian tax law.
- Security audit log entries are retained for forensic purposes. After deletion, these reference internal IDs only.
Once a record is anonymized it can no longer be linked back to you. See our Privacy Policy for the full retention schedule.
Can’t access the app?
If you’ve lost access to the app or to the email on your account, send a message to privacy@curzanloyalty.ca with your name and the email address you used to enrol. We will verify your identity and process the deletion manually within 30 days, as required by Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
If you are a Quebec resident, Law 25 also gives you the right to data portability and to disclosure of automated decision-making affecting you — see our Privacy Policy.
